In the spirit of the chilly winter season, this homemade gingerbread spice is the perfect way to enjoy the flavors of the season without sacrificing your healthy goals! With a few common spices and an airtight container, you've got your go-to seasoning for the winter!

The sky's the limit when it comes to where and how you can use this. You could swirl it into MRC Chocolate or Vanilla pudding, blend it into MRC Very High Protein meal replacement shakes, or even add a sprinkle to MRC Creamy Hot Chocolate protein drink or just a plain old cup of coffee! Here are some more of our favorite recipes where this one fits perfectly:

Ingredients:

  • 2 TBSP ground allspice
  • 2 TBSP ground cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP ground ginger
  • 1 TBSP ground cloves
  • 1 TBSP ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and store in an airtight container for up to 6 weeks.

Pro-tip: if you don't think you'll use it all up in 6 weeks, simply half the recipe!
